Teeth Whitening

What is Teeth Whitening?

We use a combination of in surgery and/or take home procedures dependent on your exact requirements. Discolouration caused by circumstances such as age, medication and tobacco can be significantly improved giving your self-confidence and appearance a boost.

The powerful in surgery techniques we use are based on a combination of laser light and bleaching gel which are only available through qualified dental surgeons. They are the same techniques and products as used by the American and UK TV extreme makeover programmes.

Crowns

What are Crowns?

These are artificial covers which fit over teeth in order to restore it to normal appearance and function.

Bridgework

What is Bridgework?

These structures can be used bridge gaps caused by missing teeth.

Veneers

What are Veneers?

A veneer is a very thin shell of porcelain or plastic which is permanently bonded to the front surface of a tooth.

Invisalign

Invisalign uses a series of clear aligners that are custom made to fit you. The virtually invisible aligners gradually reposition your teeth over time without the need for metal wires and bands.

They are very comfortable and easy to wear which makes them very popular amongst adults.

Gaps and crooked teeth can be moved resulting in a natural smile. We are currently the only practice in Kendal that offers this advanced technique.

Non-surgical Facial Treatments

What are Non-surgical facial treatments?

Our in house facial zone exclusively available only at Sandes Avenue Dental Practice, offers Botox® and dermal fillers to reduce wrinkles, frown lines and crows feet. All such treatments are carried out solely by our female dentists.

We regard this level of service as essential given the delicate nature of the treatment. As such we assure you that we do not use beauticians or therapist to administer these products.

Patients are given preventative dental advice to prevent gum disease. Our dental surgeons can provide perio chip technology to pro actively fight gum disease.
